Scott just asked me last night about sending some money somewhere to help the people of Japan. I said, but it feels like spitting in the ocean. What good is our piddly contribution in the grand scheme of this disaster? Then he said, but think of it this way -- if it's only $50 that can be one person who has something they need that they don't have now. <br /><br />The other thing is just thinking about how fortunate we are at a time when so many are suffering. I think part of what I feel is guilt and another part is selfish fear that it could happen to me. <br /><br />It has been hard to watch the events unfold over there. It is gut-wrenching and heartbreaking to say the least. <br /><br />Thanks for posting this, Carrie. I've missed your posts!
